Our Team

Meet the team

At Zeno we operate a small business culture with the management team sharing an open plan office. Peter Cammack role is to direct and manage the overall service. Pete works with each service user directly on service commencement to establish the compatibility of each service user within each service. Pete has worked with people with mild to severe learning disabilities with mental health problems and who exhibit challenging and complex behaviour for fifteen years. As the founder of Zeno and a Senior Service Manager, he has a wide range of experience and professional training within the learning disability field. He has a BSc (Hnrs) psychology degree, a MSc psychology & disability degree and is nationally registered manager at NVQ level IV for the learning disability field.

Helen is our Registered Manager. Helen looks after a team of 3 service managers who each are responsible for one or more of our services. All managers are NVQ level IV, they have grown organically through our business and have worked at all levels within the existing services. Together this team understand our ethos and ensure this is delivered consistently throughout our service.

Our support team in each service, deliver high quality, safe and responsive person-centred services for individuals. New recruits are provided with a mentor who supports them through their probationary period, as well as working alongside some of the senior management of the organisation. Our training is comprehensive and staff have to pass refreshers every year. Our training goes above and beyond all the main areas set out by legislation, including specific training on Physical Intervention, MCA/DOLS, Autism, Personal Centred Planning, Rigorous Medication training by Boots and our own Home Manager with a Diploma in Nursing, Challenging Behaviour, Epilepsy, Health and Safety, Risk Assessments, Functional Analysis, psychological theories etc. We have a clear career training path (where training is more specific to each role), where future Team Leaders and House Managers understand the skills that are required of them to achieve these challenging and rewarding roles.

We have a central administrative team who ensure the activities which enable the business to succeed run smoothly. This enables the service team to focus on excellent service delivery, without having valuable time taken away with administration.
