Zeno’s Commitment to Safeguarding
Most of our services are overseen by external regulators and closely reviewed by commissioners and other key stakeholders.
We’re guided by clear quality priorities that help us deliver exceptional care and support—always with honesty, transparency, and a deep commitment to doing what’s right.
Zeno is dedicated to protecting adults at risk of abuse. We acknowledge our duty of care to all adult service users, whether they live in a residential setting managed by Zeno or in their own homes while receiving support.
A copy of Zeno’s Safeguarding Policy is available for your reference.

Definition of ‘Adult at Risk’
We adhere to the broad definition of an ‘adult at risk’ as outlined by the Law Commission and referenced in the Department of Health’s ‘No Secrets’ document. According to this definition:
“An adult aged 18 years or over who is or may be in need of community care services by reason of mental or other disability, age or illness, and who is or may be unable to take care of themselves or protect themselves from significant harm or exploitation.”
(Law Commission Report 231, 1997 & ‘No Secrets’, Department of Health, 2000)
