    As Quality and Risk Manager, my role is to support services across Zeno to provide safe, effective, person-centered care to all of our supported people. In order to do this, I audit all of Zeno’s services. This means attending handovers, looking at the H&S within the Houses, having one-to-one meetings with Service Managers, speaking with supported people and speaking with the staff team. I look at each element of the service to ensure the support delivered is safe, caring, effective, well-led, and responsive in accordance with CQC guidance. I will then send this back to the registered manager. I also directly support DRMs and Service Managers to ensure that services run smoothly through my involvement in training. I lead the training Team delivering CPI Safety interventions. As part of this, I also take a lead in reducing the use of restrictions by leading reviews of the physical restrictions used and my environmental audits.

    My role is varied and involves working directly with teams across the services promoting a positive behavior support approach. In addition to this I am also involved in staff training & development, behavior Support Planning (BSP), Incident analysis & debrief, behavioral interventions, transition support, and new resources.
