All our services are regulated by the Care Quality Commission. The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and adult social care services in England. CQC set out a broad range of standards that all providers must meet to ensure the services provided are meeting a good standard. The new framework operated by CQC is a positive step on from their previous regime it focuses on ensuring services are:
• Well led
We strive to maintain excellent standards across all of the standards set out by CQC. The new framework works well with our ethos and finally encourages positive approaches to taking risk, where they are of course safe. We develop, deliver and then assess all the activities we run across the company against the standards set out by CQC. The nature of the people we support, means a high degree of risk assessment needs to be carried out to ensure they are safe at all times, however this should not, and does not restrict positive risk taking, which enables everyone to try new activities and develop new life skills. We continuously develop new activities, walks, environments to stimulate the people we support in a Safe way, improving their quality of life and community presence.
