Health and safety is an important aspect of all our services. It is Zeno’s policy and responsibility to ensure the general health and safety of supported people, staff and the public. Each service has a Health and safety file that helps managers perform daily weekly, monthly checks on all aspects of Health and safety to ensure Zeno are fully committed to health and safety. All staff are trained and required to pass their health and safety course, with additional mandatory monthly e learning modules to cover fire safety and food hygiene. We ensure all accidents and RIDDOR reports are reported accordingly to the health and safety executive and we monitor that all Health and safety procedures are carried out to a high standard.
We work with a specialist and the UK’s largest health and safety advisory practise Peninsula. They help us to plan and monitor our services, and provide a set of tools and techniques to maintain a high standard of Health and Safety across our services.
